Couture's New Front Row: Taylor Swift, Zendaya and the K-Pop Effect
Global pop stardom has permanently changed who sits in couture's front-row seats.

There was a time couture's front row belonged almost exclusively to editors, private clients and the occasional film star. That calculus has shifted decisively.
This season's Paris Haute Couture Week drew Taylor Swift, Zendaya, Dua Lipa, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, alongside Blackpink's Jisoo, Seventeen's Mingyu and actress Han Sohee a lineup that reflects both K-pop's global commercial reach and the way social media has turned front-row seating into its own kind of content.
Houses have responded accordingly, treating celebrity attendance as a core part of a show's rollout rather than a happy accident. Whether that shift dilutes couture's traditional exclusivity or simply gives it a bigger stage remains, depending on who in the industry you ask, an open question.
