High Jewellery Turns Soft: Inside 2026's Pastel Palette

The maisons have gone quiet-luxury on us.

Spring 2026's high jewellery collections swapped the usual fireworks of oversized rubies and emeralds for a softer register: morganite, pink spinel and chrysoprase, often set in warm yellow gold rather than cold platinum. Van Cleef & Arpels leaned into graphic gold chain work, Bulgari revisited its Tubogas construction in pink gold with onyx and morganite, and Tiffany & Co. turned to strings of South Sea black pearls for a quieter kind of statement.

Cartier, never one to sit out a trend, showed a pendant strung with chrysoprase, spinel, turquoise and diamonds that reads more bohemian than boardroom. It's a telling shift for houses whose codes are usually rigid: even at the top of the market, jewellery is being asked to feel personal rather than merely precious.
