Jaeger-LeCoultre has a habit of getting overshadowed at big fairs by louder brand names, despite supplying movements and expertise to much of the industry it competes against.

Its Master Grand Complications line at Watches and Wonders 2026 was a reminder of why that reputation exists: a dense stack of functions typically combining perpetual calendar, minute repeater and tourbillon architecture resolved with the kind of quiet legibility that's much harder to achieve than it looks. Among a fair otherwise dominated by anniversary marketing, JLC's showing stood out for being about the movement itself rather than the story wrapped around it.
