Schiaparelli: Daniel Roseberry's Synthetic Rebellion

Daniel Roseberry has never been shy about pushing Schiaparelli's boundaries, but his Fall/Winter 2026 couture collection went further than usual, built explicitly around the idea of breaking the house's own codes.

'We paired haute couture techniques with synthetic materials,' Roseberry wrote in the collection notes. 'Instead of the traditional silks, satins and wools, we used latex, silicone, and pools of paint baked into sheets and sculpted into silhouettes.' Stars including Michelle Yeoh and Emma Corrin watched from the front row as the designer presented a collection built to raise more questions than it answered a stated goal that, judging by the response, he achieved.
