The Front Row at Paris Fashion Week FW26 Was Its Own Fashion Show

If the runways told one story at Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026, the front rows told another, just as closely tracked by fashion media.

At Chanel's Grand Palais show, Kylie Minogue and Teyana Taylor watched Matthieu Blazy's sophomore collection unfold, while at Dior's Tuileries garden show, longtime ambassadors Charlize Theron and Anya Taylor-Joy sat alongside Jisoo, Willow Smith, Emily Ratajkowski, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Love Story breakout Paul Anthony Kelly, whose growing celebrity ambassador status was on clear display for the second Dior show he'd attended that fashion year. Alexa Chung, Tyla and Yerin Ha turned up at Miu Miu's grass-carpeted Palais d'Iéna show, while Raf Simons made headlines simply by standing on his seat during Pieter Mulier's emotional final Alaïa bow.

Beyond the individual sightings, the sheer density of film, television and music talent in Paris's front rows this season underscored how thoroughly fashion houses now treat celebrity casting as a core part of a show's storytelling — arguably as considered as the clothes themselves. For brands, a well-placed front row guest can generate more social media impact in a single photograph than the entire runway collection combined, a dynamic that shows no sign of slowing down.
