Tiffany & Co: Still America's Jewellery House

From the engagement ring to South Sea black pearls, Tiffany's codes remain unmistakably its own.

Every luxury jewellery ranking eventually lands on the same line: Tiffany & Co. is the American icon, full stop.

That reputation still rests largely on the engagement ring category the house effectively defined in the 19th century, but 2026's collections showed Tiffany reaching beyond bridal into softer, more editorial territory a string of South Sea black pearls that read as a quiet rebuttal to a season otherwise dominated by colour and spectacle.

That restraint is deliberate. Amid a broader jewellery market where the 'Big Four' houses are increasingly discussed as stable stores of value rather than fashion purchases, Tiffany's blue-box branding and instantly legible design language continue to do a lot of the commercial heavy lifting.
