The watch boutique remains essential it's still where new collections launch and client relationships begin.

But increasingly, that's only the first stop. Singapore-based auction house, museum and vault operator FutureGrail announced a June 2026 partnership with Scotch whisky house Royal Salute, folding aged whisky tastings into a setting already built around private viewings, rare timepieces and collector conversations.

It's part of a broader shift across the region's watch-collecting ecosystem, one that treats the purchase itself as only part of a longer hospitality experience private salons, collector dinners, guided viewings built around the idea that when you're spending this kind of money, the story around the object matters almost as much as the object.
