For those with more time, smaller creative neighbourhoods like Mullae reward discovery with their industrial backstreets and lesser-known shops. Local guides suggest choosing one messy market lane and one curated shop lane per visit rather than attempting to cover every vintage district in a single day, arriving early if Dongmyo is on the list, and bringing cash, a tote bag and clothes that make trying on jackets easy.
