Seoul Fashion Week Marks 25 Years on the Global Stage
The anniversary edition partners with Berlin Fashion Week and turns city landmarks into runways.

Seoul Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2026 edition, running 1 to 7 September at venues across the city, marked the event's 25th anniversary.
By expanding well beyond its usual Dongdaemun Design Plaza home base turning Deoksugung-gil, Hongje Yuyeon and Heungcheonsa Temple into runways in their own right. The season's headline collaboration was the first-ever participation of 'Berlin Showroom', the official showroom of Berlin Fashion Week, which brought 12 rising European brands to Korea for the first time, presenting collections built around sustainability, traditional aesthetics and material innovation. With 27 local designers showing collections and more than 90 brands taking part in B2B sales, the anniversary edition doubled as a statement about Seoul's ambitions to function as a genuine two-way exchange point between Korean and global fashion, rather than simply an exporter of K-fashion.
