The Best Style Moments at the US Open 2026
As the tournament reaches its final weekend, the US Open’s courtside and blue-carpet style has become part of the New York spectacle.

The 2026 US Open runs from 23 August through 13 September, and by the final weekend the tournament has once again demonstrated how closely sport and fashion are intertwined in New York.
The celebrity audience has been unusually broad. US Open coverage documented appearances from Cynthia Nixon, Ariana DeBose, Sophia Bush and Ziwe Fumudoh during US Open Pride, while later days brought Shonda Rhimes, Matthew McConaughey, Rachel Zegler, Woody Harrelson and Leon Bridges into the stands.
The most interesting style moments are not necessarily the most formal. Tennis has its own visual codes polo shirts, tailored shorts, track jackets, sneakers and clean athletic silhouettesand the best-dressed guests tend to borrow those references without looking as though they are in costume.
That is the continuing appeal of the US Open as a fashion stage. It is less controlled than a runway and less ceremonial than a film premiere. Clothing has to work against heat, movement and the casual energy of a long day in New York.
The result is a particular kind of polish: sporty, metropolitan and highly personal. For a fashion audience, the tournament is a reminder that style often looks most convincing when it appears to belong to the place rather than to a dress code.
